50 years of creating motherhood, thanks to the tablet

Margaret SangerWe are going to celebrate motherliness. It is Mother's Day. Moreover it is the 50th anniversary of the tablets authorization by the Food and Drug Administration.

The birth control expert Margaret Sanger first saw the dream of a "wonderful pill" in the year 1912. She wanted to do more than normal to mothers. She wanted to revolutionize their lives. Her strategies had worked to some extent.

By 1900, the average child birth was very less due to several factors like late wedding, sexual self-discipline, contraceptive plans, and abortion. But the plan provoked the rate of child birth and it has been reduced by 20%. Sanger then had realized that effective birth control is needed and she started a family-planning clinic and launched her tablet in the US market in the year 1960.

But there has been some negative impact like the same medication that gave mothers the ability to control fertility has also led many women to holdup childbearing. But as a whole this medication may be like a souvenir to mothers.
