Bollywood has come out heavily on the racist's violence attacks on the Indian students in Australia.

After Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan, popular actor Aamir Khan has called upon the government of Australia to check the surge in racial attacks at once.

In his blog, www. aamirkhan. com/blog, Amir wrote that it was very disturbing that Indian students were being targeted by the Australians merely because of their skin color.

"Most disturbing to hear about racist attacks on Indians living in Australia. Quite a shame," wrote the actor in his blog.

Mr. Perfectionist hoped for fast recovery of sick students Shravan, who sustained stern injuries in such an attack.

The actor said that with this violence it should not be determined that all Australians nurtured same malice of apartheid.

However, the actor also suggested that we should also keep in view crimes committed against foreigners who came to India.

"And while we want action to be taken by authorities in Australia, equally we should remember all the various crimes against foreigners who visit India," added the actor.

Earlier on Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan turned down an honorary doctorate from Queensland University of Technology to protest the attacks.
