AI flight again develops technical snagA Chennai-bound Air India flight suffered a technical fault leading to returning of plane to the airport, having 26 passengers on board. It is the second such incident in three days of AI plane developing technical faults and causing delay in scheduled flights.

Explaining the incident, AI officials said that it was at 0845 am when the plane headed for its destination but soon returned to the airport due to some technical snag. The authorities soon contacted maintenance engineers in Delhi who fixed the problem in few hours.

The flight will now take off at 3 pm and accommodation arrangements have been done for the embarrassing passengers in nearby hotels. Some passengers are reported to be at airport while some have found it better to stay in near local hotels. Passengers pulled the airline for repeatedly reporting such technical failure incidents and endangering their lives.

Earlier on October 15, AI’s a Chennai-bound Air India flight via Visakhapatnam reported technical faults after 20 minutes of its take off, causing inconvenience to 162 passengers onboard.
