Alcatel Launches Two Entry Level PhonesAlcatel has introduced two entry level mobile phones including the OT-707 and the OT-800 in the market.

Targeting the low-end segment, the OT-707 is a touch screen phone and the OT-800 is a full QWERTY phone.

The phones come packed with amazing features usually spotted on higher end devices.

The Alcatel OT-707 phone, which is Alcatel’s first venture into the touchscreen segment, comes with an internal memory of 10MB, which can be expanded upto 2GB via microSD card slot. The phone sports a 2.3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors.

Moreover, this impressive phone features a 1.3 megapixel camera, and supports dual band GSM and GPRS connectivity allowing users to share data in wireless mode.

The phone, which provides a talktime of upto 8 hours and a standby time of upto 350 hours, incorporates a FM radio that let users to enjoy the newest songs, and a music player for full entertainment.

On the other hand, Alcatel OT-800 phone, which sports a full QWERTY keyboard, features a display screen with 320 x 240 pixels.

It supports Tri band, GSM and GPRS connectivity.

Other features of OT-800 phone include a 2 megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS support, Opera Mini.

The Alcatel OT-707 is expected to be priced at around $126, while the Alcatel OT-800 should hold a price tag of about $120.

But there is no word as to when we can expect these devices to be on sale.
