After the hullabaloo, the Ambani brothers have finally agreed to sit informally and discuss the matter related with the possible gas supply.

The two companies question are- Mukesh Ambani's RIL and Anil Ambani's RNRL. The issue started when RIL refused to sell RNRL gas at less than $4mmcd, to which Anil refused saying that it was against the agreement.

Just a few days back, the apex court gave a decision in favor of RIL and said that the decision to decide the price of gas is with government, and not companies.

A source close to the development said that the top officials of both the companies will sit and discuss the matter. It is also expected that they will look for an out-of-court decision.

No formal confirmation of the same has been given as of now.

It was also expected that Kokila Ben, the mother of the two brothers and the wife of late Dhirubhai Ambani will sit and solve the problem.

It is also important that the two brothers come to some kind of an agreement since the feud is also affecting NTPC, which also gets gas and fuel from RIL.
