Ashwin Sundar has registered win in the opening race of the premium class, the Formula Rolon in the third round of the JK Tyre National racing championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettipalayam, Coimbatore on Saturday.

The young Ashwin showed a good show amidst the challenging conditions as with three laps to go his car started to expel heavy smoke but he continued to keep his car under control to finish at the first position.

Chetan Anand of Wallace Sports was disqualified after he went off the track and at the end seven were ousted by the steward after they were alleged for violation  of ‘speeding and overtaking’ rule under the yellow flag among the dozen of the players who were questioned by the steward.

The players who were ousted include Vishnu Prasad, Akhil Devarag, K. Prasanth and Sudarshana Rao who were from TVS Girling.
