Bajaj plans KTM bikes in the Rs. 1 lakh rangeAfter Bajaj launched the premium Ninja bikes in the Indian market that sported a tag of over Rs. 2 lakh, the company has recently said that it is targeting close to Rs. 1 lakh tag for the KTM bikes that will be launched in the Indian market next year.

It may be noted here that both the parties i. e. Bajaj & KTM have been working on the development of these products for the past 24 months and the products will be launched in the European market by the end of this year that will soon be followed by the India launch that will take place in the first half of the next year.

Rajiv Bajaj, managing director, Bajaj Auto hinted by the fact that whatever be the price point it will be above the Pulsar as it will otherwise makes no sense to launch such a product.

Notably, the company will be selling the KTM bikes with the Probiking format of showrooms that it has in the Indian market. If the company launches its 125cc KTM bikes at 1 lakh plus next year, it will be double to the currently prevailing industry standards.
