In a must win match, Ireland has restricted Bangladesh inning to 138/8.
Ireland has won the toss and elected to field first against Bangladesh in ICC T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh got a bad start as they lost their five wickets for just 66 runs on the board.
Tamim Iqbal(22) and Mashrafe Murtaza(34) helped Bangldesh to decent total of 137/8 in their 20 overs.
DT Johnston bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets and conceded just 20 runs in his 4 overs.
Ireland is a non-Test playing nation and the former West Indian opener Phil Simmons is the coach of the Irish team.
Bangladesh had lost its first match against India on Saturday and to make into the super eight round of the ICC T20 World Cup, they needs to win this match.
