Bhupinder and Mitali Singh pay tribute to late singer Jagjit Singh New Delhi, Feb : Ghazal singer duo Bhupinder and Mitali Singh performed at a tribute concert in the memory of late maestro Jagjit Singh on his 72nd birth anniversary in Mumbai on Friday night.

The concert, `Ek Ehsaas - A Legendary Tribute Concert for Jagjit Singh', also witnessed a performance by popular flautist Runo Mazumdar.

"In the memory of one of my very old friend Jagjit Singh, this concert has been organized on his birth anniversary. So we have come here to pay tribute to him. We will sing some of his ghazals and some our own. But we are really happy to be a part of this concert," Bhupinder said.

Speaking on the occasion, Mitali remembered legendry singer late Jagjit Singh for his great work.

"Every one has to go one day, but he has done some great work and so it's very important to remember them. As we are also from the ghazal genre but since he has done such great work that's the reason we are doing this concert," she said. (ANI)
