Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan showed his eagerness to be the brand ambassador of Gujarat.
Big B was in Gandhinagar for a special screening of his super hit movie 'Paa' for Gujarat's CM Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
"There are lots of good things in Gujarat which should be promoted. I am ready to give my voice and face for the promotion of Gujarat tourism," the actor said.
Amitabh also said that he would happy to be a part of a documentary film on the traditional state.
Bachchan was full of praise for the growth in the state and said Gujarat was a state worth visiting over and over.
"If the government planned a documentary to showcase the state, I would like to be a part of it," he said.
Amitabh also presented Gujarat's CM a copy of Madhushala, a set of quatrains penned by his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
Modi praised Bachchan and accepted his offer to endorse Gujarat tourism.
Incidentally Bachchan's verdict came on a day when his dear friend Samajwadi Party's national general secretary Amar Singh resigned from all party positions, which has been a huge critic of Modi and the BJP.
Big B was UP's brand ambassador during Samajwadi Party's regulation that had earned him the anger of MNS in Mumbai.
