New York, Sep. 26 : Describing US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as "the best public servant our family has produced," former US President Bill Clinton has admitted that his wife is better than him.

His praise came during the start of his annual global issues conference in New York, Sky News reports.

In return, Hillary offered praise: "I am very proud of my husband, and I think what he has invented and brought to life here is extraordinary."

The Clintons and their daughter Chelsea were greeted by enormous applause at the fifth annual meeting of the anti-poverty and anti-climate change conference, which aims to prevent people relying mainly on emergency food aid in times of crisis.

Outlined her ideas for dealing with world hunger, Hilary spoke of a new "food initiative" that will help people around the world grow, buy and sell the produce they need.

Bill Clinton had scheduled his Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meeting to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly.

He admitted the event was "the first chance I have had in a week to see Hillary" due to her commitments at the UN. (ANI)
