Microsoft founder Bill Gates has declared that his foundation will help the State to have better health facilities. He is currently on a visit to Bihar. He has also said that Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is just following the motto that all lives have equal value.

He has visited to two interior villages in Khagaria and Banka of Bihar. Then he has addressed the media at the CM secretariat along with the Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with the Bihar Government on providing improved healthcare facilities in the State.

The foundation will co-operate with the Bihar government's health department in delivering better medicare to the people of the state. For the next five years, they have taken eight districts of the state to upgrade the service. The foundation will make interventions in all 38 districts of Bihar in preliminary healthcare services.

Bill Gates has said that the basic priority of the organization is to save most of the lives by better delivery of medicines and vaccination and they will do the same in the state.
