Black Magic Practiced In Asaram Ashram: Gujarat CID

Black Magic Practiced In Asaram Ashram: Gujarat CIDAs per the affidavit submitted by the officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) before the Gujarat High Court, black magic may have been practiced inside the Asaram ashram in Ahmedabad.

In the court, CID said that lie detector test conducted on the three sadhaks of the Asaram ashram, reveal that black magic is being performed inside the ashram and that the three are aware about the same.

The disclosure comes almost one year after the puzzling death of two boys: Dipesh and Abhishekh Waghela. The two were studying in Asaram Bapu's gurukul.

Initially, the police registered a case of accidental death, but the boys parents allege that their sons were murdered as part of black magic practice at the ashram.

Speaking with the media persons, advocate for petitioner, S K Iyer said: "So far, even an FIR has not been lodged. It's been six months since these tests were done and inaction justifies the demand for a CBI inquiry. We will file a rejoinder."

On the same lines, Dipesh's father, Prafful Vaghela said that black magic is being practiced in the ashram but the CID still has not arrested anyone.

The parents are now demanding the CBI to take over the case.

Meanwhile, Uday Sanghani, PRO Asaram Ashram, said: "There is nothing of this sort here. This is an attempt to defame the Ashram. We will file a reply after studying the affidavit."
