The globe's largest business networking site- LinkedIn seeks a new niche, Blackberry users. It is believed that the application of LinkedIn, for the Blackberry smartphone will work on version 1.0 and is available for downloads.
It was a latent need which has finally been sufficed for the Blackberry users. As the version 1.0 takes care of the network updates, search, connections, invitations, messaging and 'reconnection' (connection suggestions) and the rest features of LinkedIn.
Chad Whitney, product manager of Blackberry services wrote about the hardships involved in developing the application which squeezes- in the capabilities of the BlackBerry platform. He further states that, customer feedback at the BlackBerry Developer Conference helped in implementation of BlackBerry Mail, Contacts and Calendar giving a multi-level exposure. This version will be available in devices with an operating system of 4.6 or later version.
However the current version supports of LinkedIn for BlackBerry will be available in BlackBerry Tour, Curve and Bold devices running BlackBerry OS 4.3 or later.
This feature amalgamates the usage of a business phone with a business networking site. This comes in aid for the professionals and may help in increasing the business of the smartphone.
