Mumbai, Sep. 15: Bollywood actors Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt and Lisa Haydon launched the music of their upcoming comedy film `Rascals' here on Wednesday.

The movie is about two conmen trying to outdo each other.

Actors Kangna Ranaut, Arjun Rampal and Chunky Pandey are also acting in the movie.

However, Ranaut was conspicuous by her absence and the film's co-producer Sanjay Ahluwalia admitted that the actress had certain issues due to which she did not come to promote the film.

Vishal and Shekhar have composed the film's music and Bosco-Caesar have choreographed its songs.

The film is set to release under the banner of Dutt's production.

Dutt said his father was a producer and he always wanted him to produce a film. The film, `Rascal' provided him with an opportunity to start working as a producer as well.

The film is set to hit the screens on October 7, 2011. (ANI)
