Washington, Sept 20 : Brad Pitt has revealed that he is surprised he was chosen to play the lead role in baseball film `Moneyball', despite his having very little knowledge of the game.
Pitt, 47, who plays the role of a former Major League player and Oakland Athletics manager Billy Bean in the film, stated he always chose wrestling and diving over baseball at high school.
"It's shameful how little I know about baseball. I'm amazed they let me do this movie," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Sports Illustrated magazine.
"Baseball and I didn't get along that well. I wrestled one year in high school. I dived one year. Everything but baseball," he added. (ANI)
