New Delhi, July 07 : Brooke Shields has revealed that she instantly became friends with Michael Jackson when she first met him because sexual tension was off the table between them.

She told Rolling Stone magazine that at the age of 13, when she first met the icon, she was "the most celebrated virgin ever" while Jackson was trying to adjust to the scores of women who "wanted to throw themselves at (Jackson) and feel like they were going to teach him," the China Daily reports.

The 44-year-old actress also added that as Jackson grew up, "the more asexual he became to me."

However, the iconic singer was curious about Brooke's early affairs.

She said: "He was like a little kid who talked about the bases - what first base was, what second base was, it sounded very odd to the outside, I can imagine, but to the inside, to someone who''s never really left his bubble, you can understand how he would be curious."

Shields had last seen Jackson long time back in 1991 at Elizabeth Taylor''s wedding.

She recalled: "We snuck in and took pictures of ourselves next to her dress, we always seemed to revert to being little kids." (ANI)
