Carla Bruni Needed 35 Takes For One Scene In Woody Allen’s FilmThe French First Lady Carla Bruni failed to impress filmmaker Woody Allen, who chose her to cast in his movie Midnight in Paris. The hot model of the 90s could not prove her talent in acting as she reportedly took 35 takes to shoot one scene for Allen’s film.

It was more astonishing because Carla did not require uttering a single line in the scene. According to an onlooker, “Bruni was almost struggling to avoid eyeing to the camera directly. Woody was definitely not impressed with this. She wanted to make the baguette scene a big one, which was very simple. She continued to take shots again and again for this”.

In fact, Woody was constantly prompting the 42 year old actress. He did it carefully with lots of respect as the First Lady was surrounded by her security guards. After several animated exchanges between Bruni and Allen, the scene was shot in the heart of the Left Bank.

The former super model and pop singer will star opposite Hollywood actor Owen Wilson, who supported her all the time during the scene.

Midnight in Paris is a romantic comedy, which also stars Rachel McAdams and Adrien Brody and. The movie is scheduled to release in 2011.
