TurmericTurmeric ended flat on a likely increase in supplies with the arrival of fresh crop, higher production estimates and weak overseas demand. Arrivals from the new crop have started at some places in small quantities and are expected to improve gradually. In Nizamabad, around 2,000-2,500 bags (of 70 kg each) of fresh turmeric arrived on Tuesday against 200-300 bags in the last 2-3 days. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 15641.15 rupees dropped by -311.8 rupees. Market has opened at 9930 & made a low of 9900 versus the day high of 10048. The total volume for the day was at 1520 lots and the open interest was at 6565. Support for turmeric is at 9897 below that could see a test of 9825. Resistance is now seen at 10045 above that could see a resistance of 10121.
