Elon Musk refutes Some Content of Book written about Him

On Tuesday, CEO and CTO of American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company SpaceX, Elon Musk, talked about a book that has written about him. Musk, who is also the chief executive of Tesla Motors Inc., posted a message on micro blogging website Twitter that some of the passages in the book are not correct.

The book is named 'Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the Quest for a Fantastic Future' and is written by Ashlee Vance. According to the book, Musk sent a scolding email to one employee of his company who could not manage to attend an event of the company. The writer stated that the employee missed the event to witness his child's birth.

As per the book, Musk wrote to the employee in the email, "That is no excuse. I am extremely disappointed. You need to figure out where your priorities are. We're changing the world and changing history, and you either commit or you don't".

As per the book, Musk was informed about complaints of working too hard in the early days of Tesla. Musk said that the employees will get enough time to spend with their families and friends in the situation when the company goes bankrupt.

According to the reports, 'Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the Quest for a Fantastic Future' is going to be released on May 19. The book has also quoted co-founder and Chief Executive of Google Inc. Larry Page. As per the book, Larry said that when Musk did not have home in the San Francisco Bay Area, where Tesla is situated, he came to page's home in Silicon Valley.

It is not revealed yet whether it was true or not as Larry did not say anything on the matter. But, Musk has refuted the passages in the book written about him.
