Era Infra Engineering Ltd, a unified infrastructure development conglomerate, has secured a contract worth Rs 46 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).

The scope of contract includes construction of General Civil Works for Main Plant and Auxiliary Plant Buildings for Unit No. 1 of 2 x 600 MW North Chennai TPS, Athipattu, Tiruvallur Dist. Chennai on August 19, 2009.

Despite the order win, the scrip of the company today closed at Rs 152, down 1% compared to its previous close.
