All good things come to an end, and so did the Eva Longoria and Tony Parker marriage. After three-and-a-half blissful years of matrimony this "Desperate Housewife" star decided to call it quits with her basketball player husband. The reason? Infidelity- something that's not so uncommon in showbiz. When the rumors of the couple heading for splitsville appeared on Wednesday, we could only brush it off like the rumor that appeared just after their marriage. But on Thursday morning it was official.

It has been reported that the NBA champion was cheating on Longoria by exchanging text messages with a common female friend of the couple. Hundreds of messages were sent in a matter of a week. The name of this mutual friend has not been divulged yet. When confronted by the sultry actress, Tony confessed that it had been going on for a year. The very-much-in-love Longoria was shocked and all her dreams of having children with Tony and growing old together were shattered.

Even till Thursday afternoon, Longoria was in two minds about filing for divorce. Tony was not in favor of the divorce, but Longoria was determined after she confronted the other woman in question. When Longoria filed for divorce on Thursday afternoon in LA, a prenuptial agreement was mentioned but the details were not elaborated.

The couple had a fairy tale marriage in a 17th century castle in France on July 7, 2007 and Longoria even took her husband's name. But they were not able to live happily ever after.
