Freed jailbird Tweed ‘pays tender tribute at Goody’s grave’

Freed jailbird Tweed ‘pays tender tribute at Goody’s grave’London, May 30 : Jack Tweed paid a tender tribute at the final resting place of his late wife Jade Goody after being released from prison.

The grieving widower placed a bunch of red roses at the grave and tenderly moved his fingers over the wooden memorial.

The 21-year-old made the visit after being released from jail, where he had been serving 12 weeks for assault on a taxi driver just two weeks after Jade lost her battle to cervical cancer aged 27.

The former model was accompanied by his mother Mary to the country church near Jade''s home in Upshire, Essex.

"I go to bed thinking of Jade and wake up thinking of her, so I can''t begin to think what goes through his mind. It''s hard for him. He is still grieving badly," the Sun quoted Mary as saying.

Tweed later returned to his home Buckhurst Hill before heading for his favourite pub with best friend Mark Wright.

He was said to have promised to keep himself out of trouble to be a good role model for Jade's boys Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

A pal said: "She made him promise her he would never end up back in prison again after she died. She wanted Jack to be there for her boys once she''d gone." (ANI)
