West Indies skipper Chris Gayle has signed a contract with Western Australia, and given his consent to play for Retravision Warriors in the Australian domestic twenty20 tournament.

Warriors coach Tom Moody said that Chris presence in the Warriors camp will boost the morale of their player for Big Bash T20 tournament and they have been aiming to qualify for the 2010 edition of the Champions League Twenty20 as they had missed the chances of playing in the first edition.
Gayle also plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League and now he will play in the Warriors squad for the Big Bash T20 tournament.
