Berlin - Germany condemned Friday's bomb attacks on two Jakarta hotels, which left at least nine dead and dozens injured.

"The perpetrators and backers of these attacks have to be apprehended and brought to account," the foreign ministry said.

A statement said Germany shared the grief on the victims' families and hoped for a speedy recovery of those injured in the "cowardly attacks."
