The Tripura administration has banished ten brands of jabs manufactured by different pharmaceutical companies in the state with immediate effect till further order.

According to an official release, quoting the Deputy Drugs Controller, the ten branded jabs may lead to side-effects after their administration.

Therefore, more testing and examination of these medicines was required.

The state administration has placed a ban on the use as well as sale of these ten Injections till further declaration.

The injections banned are Tezocort, Peeptum, Crislin, Incitazin, Tazovic, Tazovact-P and Prectum, among others, the release stated. (With Inputs from Agencies)
