Govt will review Delhi HC ruling on gay sex legalization: MoilyNew Delhi, July 9 : Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily today said that the government will review the Delhi High Court''s ruling to legalize gay sex among consenting adults.

Moily, although stopped short of clarifying government''s stand on the issue, said that all aspects of the judgment would be reviewed shortly.

His reaction came after the Supreme Court issued notice to the Centre on a petition challenging the Delhi High Court judgment.

The apex court posted the matter for hearing on July 20.

The Bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan said that any interim order against the High Court verdict, if necessary, would be considered only after hearing the parties concerned.

The bench also said they would hear the opinions of all the parties concerned before giving any interim order in this matter.

The court was hearing a plea filed by Suresh Kumar Kaushal, an astrologer, against the Delhi High Court''s verdict.

Notices were also issued to NAZ Foundation, and other respondents who were parties before the Delhi High Court. (ANI)
