Health Services On Mobile Phones!Officials have decided to promote the healthcare services in India, and people will now get health services directly on their mobile phones.

At the India Economic Summit of the World Economic Forum, the members said that this could be the cheapest way of providing health services to people living in rural areas.

Sachin Pilot, minister of sate for communication and information technology, said that healthcare at cheapest price is possible with coordinated work of government as wella as private sector.

The members expected the growth of m-health technology by 25% annually from the current $1.5 billion to $4.6 billion by 2014.

With the coming of broadband connectivity in mobile phones, the level of communication has raised to great extent.

Sachin Pilot said that m-health gives opportunities in healthcare delivery, but they may face difficulty with the language delivery due to variety of languages spoken all over the world.

Almost all penalists believe that m-health could give sustainable business models.

However, they should not expect earnings before interest and taxes.

Due to shortage of trained medical professionals, m-health could prove beneficial in future.
