Creation of joint secretary post for NACO

New Delhi, Jan 17: The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for creation of a post of Joint Secretary in the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) under the National AIDS Control Programme Phase-III.
This decision would give several benefits, including coordination with agencies in the Government and International agencies and supervision of the procurement of goods and services and supply chain management which is expected to increase two fold.
The coordination and supervision of activities in the social sector and communication areas would also be better achieved. (ANI)
