Tripoli (Libya), Dec. 20 : Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset al-Megrahi''s health is deteriorating, according to a Libyan hospital source.

A Sky News report quoted the Tripoli Medical Centre as saying in a statement that al-Megrahi''s condition has worsened and the cancer has spread throughout his body.

The 57-year-old arrived at the hospital on Saturday coughing and vomiting, the statement said.

"A scan has shown a worsening of the disease which has spread more than before," it added.
