ZYOG1 has finally got an approval from Drug Controller General of India. ZYOG1 is essentially an anti-diabetic drug that has comes from the makers of the pharmaceutical company, Zydus Cadila, can now legally be supplied after a nod from Drug Controller General of India (DGCI).
This brings a ray of hope for the sufferers of diabetics, and Zylus Cadila on the other hand prepares to bring other drugs that lay in the pipeline for a similar purpose such as NME- ZYH1, ZYH2, ZYI1, ZYT1 and ZYO1. The drug apart from curing against diabetics showed significant advancements in weight loss, HbA1c reduction and glucose reduction.
Chairman and Managing Director, Zydus Cadila, Mr Pankaj R Patel said, "We believe that it holds promising commercial potential as a best-in-class candidate due to unmet medical needs in the treatment of diabetes." It was further seen that India is followed by China, Russia, Brazil and Turkey as the next major Diabetic centres.
