Confirming the case of flu in 8-months old pregnant woman, Swine flu leave tremors of the disease felt in Coimbatore. It is supposed that the Swine flu has hit back in Coimbatore after three months.

The victim is 29 year old woman who works for a MNC in Bangalore, is now kept in isolation ward in a private hospital.

She was tested positive with the swine flu symptoms when she came to visit her native place to pay a visit to her parents who stay adjacent to Pollachi and thus, tested positive 30th May.

However, the parents were tested negative but the tests are being performed on the husband. Meanwhile the reports confirm that she is recuperating after taking Tami Flu tablets.

The department is set to carry a safety and awareness drive to keep a tab on the spread of the pandemic disease.
