India to take on Australia today

India, AustraliaIndia team will be looking to take lead in the seven one day international matches series when they will play against Australia in the second ODI match at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi on Saturday.

Indian team had won the last ODI match against Australia by 99 runs in Nagpur to level the series 1-1. Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had smashed a brilliant century in that match to help his team to put up a mammoth total of 354 runs for seven wickets.

Most of the Indian batsmen clicked in the second match, but Sachin Tendulkar failed to score in first two ODI matches. Sachin needs just 79 runs more to become first ever batsman to score
17,000 runs in ODI matches.

On the other hand, Australian team is struggling with injures as Brett Lee was ruled out from the rest of the series due to injury, and injured James Hopes will also not play in the third ODI match.
