Indian women cricket team all set for Twenty-20 World CupBangalore, June 3 : The Indian women''s cricket team is all set and confident of a good performance, as they prepare to take on England in its first match in the Twenty-20 World Cup on June 11 at Lords.

"They provide the best staff for us. I hope we will use all this in a proper way and deliver good cricket at the World Cup. We all need to think together and play together as a team and work hard for the team," captain Jhulan Goswami said.

The eight-team women''s ICC World Twenty20 tournament will run concurrently as the men''s tournament.

Every member of the team was hopeful of a good show as they interacted with the media a day before their departure to England.

Senior player, Anjum Chopra believes that the T20 tournament is one of its kind and will give much-needed boost to women''s cricket.

"On the whole it should be a great experience because such a tournament has never been organised for women''s cricket. The greatest benefit is that it is being showcased on the same platform as men''s cricket and if we are able to put up a great show the game over the world will get a boost," Chopra said. (ANI)
