The Pune Municipal Corporation has planned to start a training institute for its employees soon. This will be responsible for the training of the PMC staff. The PMC is looking forward to reform its administration and recruitment process. PMC believes such training will enhance efficiency and accuracy of the employees. It is expected to bring transparency in recruitment process as well.
Mr. K C Karkar, the Deputy Municipal Commissioner has informed that such programs are initiatives towards the administrative restructuring in the organization. The training institute will fine-tune the skills of the civil employees.
He has also informed that the location for the institute has been finalized and it will be operative soon. Mr. Karkar has also revealed that PMC is taking help from all section of society and anxious to provide its employees proper training.
Apart from that as per Karkar, this institute is going to help them in recruitment process. PMC is keen on following a transparent selection process. There has been an issue of question paper being leaked in the written exam for the post of junior clerk. PMC want to avoid such unpleasant activities in its organization.
