Jamie Foxx – Launches New Album And Performs Live On LettermanThe "Unpredictable" singer, Jamie Foxx, will release his album after a long haul today. The album is titled "Best Night of My Life" and Foxx is to perform live for Live on Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theatre today.

Foxx had been working very hard on this album with Timberlake and Kanye West to follow up his last hit album of 2008, "Intuition".

"Best Night of My Life" has 15 tracks. He is joined by Ludacris on the track "Rejoice" and by Soulja Boy on "Yep That's Me". "Fall For Your Type" features Drake the rapper and "Winner" has Justin Timberlake along with Foxx.

Born as Eric Marlon Bishop, Foxx started acting in 1992. His role in `Collateral' gave him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He bagged the Academy Award for Best Actor and BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role with the role of Ray Charles in `Ray'. His music career took off in 1994 with the release of his first album `Peep This'. His track with Twista "Slow Jamz" made it to the Billboard Hot 100 in 2004. He received 4 Grammy nominations in 2006 for his album `Unpredictable'. He has also launched a channel on Sirius Satellite Radio called `The Foxxhole'.

Foxx, the actor, will be back on the silver screen by 2011. It has been reported that he is currently working on three films - `The Shank Robbers' with Martin Lawrence and Halle Berry, `Horrible Bosses' and `Rio'. All three are scheduled to hit theaters by 2011.
