John Deere expands its India portfolio

John-DeereIndia's leading tractor manufacturer John Deere India has recently announced that the company has launched two new models into the Indian market with a view to offer more choices to the Indian consumer in its portfolio.

John Deere India director-sales and marketing Ravi Menon said that the introduction of the new two models which are lower on horsepower marks the entry of the company into the segment which accounts for close to 40% sales in the Indian tractors market.

It is to be mentioned here that products, 35-HP tractor model 5036C and 41-HP tractor model 5041C are equipped with several user friendly features are expected to add more fuel to the fire in the Indian tractors market.

It may be noted here that Menon also highlighted the fact that the company is committed to bring advance technology to farmers in India that helps them to be more productive and cost-effective.

For the uninitiated, the company has close to has 19 regional offices and over 380 authorized dealers, with over 200 high quality component manufactures as authorized suppliers and the company is expecting to take the number even higher.
