London, Jan 4 : British actor Jude Law has reportedly reached out to the mother of his love child in an effort to set up a first meeting with his daughter.

Law became a father for the fourth time when American model Samantha Burke gave birth to Sophia in September last year. The actor had met her outside a night club in New York, reports express. co. uk.

Burke is happy that Law has finally decided to meet his daughter.

"Law plans to visit her within a few weeks. She's (Burke) over the moon. She was hurt he had not seen Sophia," said the source.

Law has three kids with ex-wife Sadie Frost. (IANS)
