Thiruvananthapuram, July 11 : Sajan Pillai, CEO of Kerala's largest IT employer UST Global, was listed among the top '100 CEO Leaders by STEMConnector(R)' for contributing to education and innovation in technology across the globe, said a company statement.

He was listed for promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education among potentially employable youth in different parts of the world.

STEM sponsors include KPMG, Cisco, Raytheon, Dow Chemical, PTC, TATA Consultancy Services and University of Phoenix.

The publication partners are US News, Business-Higher Education Forum, the Manufacturing Institute, and Fortune magazine.

UST Global currently employs more than 4,000 IT professionals in the state and is an information technology solutions and services company for Global 1,000 enterprises.

The company statement pointed out that UST Global is contributing to job creation by investing in human capital development in established as well as unexplored geographies through its widely acclaimed STEM training efforts in countries such as Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Greece among others.

The company has plans to further train 100,000 youths globally.
