Hyderabad-based KNR Construction, an infrastructure project development company, has secured an order worth of Rs 231 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for completion of balance work of widening to 4/6 lanes and strengthening of existing 2-lanes carriageway of NH-5 in the State of Orissa.

Under the contract, the company executes road transportation engineering projects including construction and maintenance of roads, highways, flyovers and bridges, irrigation, water supply and urban water infrastructure management.

The order is scheduled to be completed within next 24 months.

The shares of the company today closed at Rs 106, up 4% compared to its previous close of Rs 102 on BSE.
