Baba Ramdev ink row: assaulter’s brother protests beating of his siblingNew Delhi, Jan 14 : The brother of the Kamran Siddiqui, who threw black ink at yoga guru Baba Ramdev protested outside the police station in New Delhi on Saturday in wake of the assault on his brother after he threw black ink on Baba Ramdev.

Siddiqui who was upset with Baba’s comments on the Batla House encounter, in a fit of rage threw black ink on Baba, who was holding a press conference here today to brief reporters about his future course of action to campaign during the upcoming assembly polls in the five states.

“This is our fundamental right to ask any question to anybody and if we have asked a question to somebody or we have beaten a person then it is the work of the law to investigate the matter. Supporters of Ramdev have broken the nose, teeth of my brother and he was beaten badly with hockey sticks that he had to be admitted into hospital,” said Mohammad Siddiqui brother of Kamran Siddiqui.

Leaders across the social and political spectrum have unequivocally condemned the black ‘ink attack’ on yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday, and called for strict action against the perpetrator. (ANI)
