New Delhi, Nov 19 : It was a sunny but nippy morning in the capital Monday with the minimum temperature at 12.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of year.
"The day will be bright and clear but by evening a drop in temperature will be witnessed and it will be a chilly evening," an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
A light mist enveloped the city early morning.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 28 degrees Celsius, the official said.
Maximum humidity at 8.30 a. m. was 86 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 28.4 degrees, a notch above average, while the minimum was recorded at 10.8 degrees, two notches below average.(IANS)
