Militants gun down two policemen in J-K

Handwara, Mar. 2 : Militants shot dead two young police constables in Handwara town of Jammu and Kashmir''s Kupwara District on Saturday.

The incident took place at the Handwara bus stand where the two policemen were discharging their duties.

The constables, who were identified as Santosh Singh and Azad Chand, were declared dead after being taken to a nearby hospital.

The security forces have cordoned off the area where the incident took place. According to the police, a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the attackers. (ANI)
