London, Jan. 4 : People in the UK, who drive in relation with their work, are more likely to endanger lives by taking risks behind the wheel, a survey has revealed.
Nearly 31 percent wrote and sent texts while driving, while grooming, including applying make-up or shaving, the Daily Mail reported.
According to the survey conducted by road safety pressure group Brake and insurers Direct Line, more than three-quarters drove over 35mph in built up areas.
Nearly a third of journeys on UK roads were made by drivers who are working, official statistics showed. The drivers were up to 40 percent more likely to be in a crash than people, who were driving in their own time.
