Hong Kong, July 31: An undersea quake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck off the eastern coast of Japan's Honshu island Saturday, Xinhua reported.
The tremor occurred at 18:53 GMT, the US Geological Survey said. The epicentre was at a depth of 43.50 km, at 36.9660 degrees north latitude and 141.0583 degrees east longitude. There was no immediate report of damage or casualty. (IANS)
