Kolkata, Feb 1 - Public sector UCO Bank Wednesday reported a 10 percent jump in its net profit for the quarter ended December 2011 at Rs. 3.33 billion from Rs.
3.01 billion during the like period of 2010.

The Kolkata-headquartered bank's total income in the third quarter this fiscal stood at Rs. 39.73 billion from Rs. 31.08 billion during the same period a year ago,
registering a growth of 27.8 percent.

Net Interest Income of the bank, however, dipped by 2.7 percent to Rs. 10.33 crore during the period under review. (IANS)
