London, Dec 27: Singer Amy Winehouse’s imprisoned hubby Blake Fielder-Civil has found a new pen pal - Pete Doherty.

Blake, who has been facing trial over assault and trial-fixing claims, wrote to the troubled rocker for advice.

And Doherty has apparently been giving tips to Blake on how to spend his festive season in the slammer, and is also updating him about life in the outside world.

The Babyshambles frontman has also promised to look after Blake’s troubled wife Amy.

A friend revealed that Blake has asked Pete to take care of his wife, as he fears that Amy’s friends would try to create discord between them and split the couple.

“Blake feels very vulnerable. As well as threats he faces in jail, he fears Amy’s friends will use his time in prison to come between them and try to split them up, ” The Sun quoted the friend, as saying.

“He has asked Pete to look after Amy and fight his corner to make sure he doesn’t get shut out. Pete has a soft spot for Blake, who has always idolised him, and has promised to do his best, ” the friend said. (ANI)
