New York, June 18 : If rumours are to be believed, Anne Hathaway has dumped her longtime boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.

News of Hathaway's break up surfaced when she put on a brave face at a ‘Get Smart’ premiere in LA, reports the New York Daily News.

Italian-American businessman Follieri, who had been dating the actress for four years, has been in the news again and again after it was reported last week that his charity Follieri Foundation, which funded vaccination programs in developing countries, was being investigated by the New York State Attorney General's Office.

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star made the painful decision to end their relationship because of the adverse effect that controversy surrounding his business dealings could have on her career.

“It's heartbreaking for her to dump him, and she's devastated that it's come to this, but she really didn't have a choice. His scandals were hurting her reputation,” the New York Daily News quoted a source, as telling Daily Mail. (ANI)
