London, May 25 : Ringo Starr has said `The Beatles' were lucky to have him as their drummer because he was a "bigger shot" than the legendary band at the time in Liverpool.

The drummer replaced Pete Best before the Beatles hit it big.

"I was a lot more well-known than them. The Beatles were lucky to get me. It wasn't just that I was a big shot, I was a cool drummer," the Daily Star quoted Ringo as saying. (ANI)
