London, Dec 19 : David Beckham and his wife Victoria have received a personalised recipe guide from pal Gordon Ramsay to help them in their DIY Christmas lunch.

The Beckhams are good friends with the TV chef and his wife Tana, and the two families have spent Christmas Day together many times.

This year Ramsay will not be joining the Beckhams because he is committed to a live Christmas Day “cookalong” on Channel 4.

But kind-hearted Gordon has cooked up a unique system to help them cope his absence, at least in the Kitchen department.

The Michelin-starred chef has personally prepared a hand-written “fools’ guide” to Christmas lunch, incorporating all his professional tricks and techniques to make it the perfect meal.

“It’s really sad that the two families can’t spend Christmas together this year, not least because having Gordon oversee things in the kitchen always resulted in an incredible meal,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“He and David have been talking about what they are going to do without him – so Gordon has drawn up a few pointers for them and it’s gone down a storm,” the source added.

This is a special year for the Beckhams as it’s their first Christmas with baby daughter Harper, who was born in July. (ANI)
